Summary: Think Musical Academy operates a strict no-refund policy on Session Coin purchases. Please read this policy in full before making any purchase.

1. No Refund on Coin Purchases

All purchases of Session Coins made through the Think Musical Academy student portal are final and non-refundable. Once Session Coins are purchased, they cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another account, or refunded under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

2. Coin Validity & Expiry

Session Coins are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase. Coins that are not used within the validity period are automatically forfeited with no entitlement to a refund, credit, or extension.

It is the student's responsibility to track coin expiry dates through the student dashboard. The Academy will not issue reminders about expiring coins and accepts no liability for coins that expire due to inactivity.

No extensions will be granted under any circumstances, including medical emergencies, travel, or technical issues. We strongly recommend purchasing coins only when you intend to use them within the validity period.

3. Coin Refunds for Session Cancellation

While coin purchases are non-refundable, Session Coins may be returned to your wallet (not refunded as cash) in specific circumstances relating to individual session cancellations:

If the Academy cancels a confirmed session for any reason — including teacher unavailability, public holidays, force majeure events, or technical failures on the Academy's end — the Session Coin(s) used for that booking will be returned to your wallet. No additional cash compensation will be provided.

4. No Refunds for Earned Reward Coins

Reschedule Coins and Emergency Coins are awarded as milestone rewards for completing sessions. These coins have no monetary value and cannot be converted to cash, transferred, or exchanged for Session Coins. They expire as follows:

Think Musical Academy does not offer any exceptions to this refund policy. In particular:

If you have a genuine concern about a billing error (e.g. double charge, technical glitch during payment), please contact us within 7 days at billing@thinkmusical.com with transaction details. Billing errors are the only exception reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment reversal with your bank or card issuer for a legitimate Session Coin purchase constitutes a violation of these Terms. The Academy reserves the right to:

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
