1. Enrolment & Acceptance
By completing registration with Think Musical Academy ("the Academy"), you ("the Student" or "the Guardian") agree to be bound by these Terms of Enrolment and our Privacy Policy. If the student is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must complete registration on their behalf and accepts full responsibility for compliance.
2. Session Booking & Attendance
- Students are expected to attend all booked sessions on time. The Academy reserves the right to mark a session as "no-show" if the student is more than 15 minutes late without prior notice.
- Repeated no-shows (3 or more within a 30-day period) may result in temporary suspension of booking privileges.
- All sessions must be booked through the student dashboard using valid Session Coins.
- Home Tuition sessions require the student to be present at the registered address. Failure to be present without prior notice will result in session coin forfeiture.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
- Free cancellation: Sessions cancelled more than 12 hours before the scheduled time will have the Session Coin refunded in full.
- Late cancellation (2–12 hours): Requires 1 Reschedule Coin. No Session Coin refund is issued.
- Emergency cancellation (under 2 hours): Requires 1 Emergency Coin. No Session Coin refund is issued.
- Reschedule Coins are awarded after completing 10 sessions. Emergency Coins are awarded after completing 25 sessions.
- The Academy reserves the right to cancel sessions due to teacher unavailability, illness, or force majeure events. In such cases, the Session Coin will be refunded in full.
4. Coins & Payments
- Session Coins are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase and are non-transferable between accounts.
- Reschedule Coins are valid for 90 days; Emergency Coins are valid for 180 days from the date of award.
- Coins have no cash value and cannot be refunded, exchanged for cash, or transferred.
- Coin pricing is subject to change with 30 days' advance notice to enrolled students.
- Group and Mini-Group students share a single wallet. Cancellation by one group member affects the entire group booking.
5. Code of Conduct
- Students must treat teachers and staff with respect. Any form of harassment, abusive language, or disruptive behaviour will result in immediate suspension.
- Online session participants must have a stable internet connection, working camera, and microphone. The Academy is not responsible for session quality degraded by the student's internet connection.
- Recording of sessions without prior written consent from the teacher and the Academy is strictly prohibited.
6. Privacy & Data Protection
- Personal information collected during registration is used solely for the purpose of managing enrolment, scheduling, and communications.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
- Parent and guardian information for minors is collected solely for consent and emergency contact purposes.
- You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Note that deletion may result in termination of your enrolment and forfeiture of unused coins.
7. Intellectual Property
All teaching materials, course content, and session recordings created by the Academy remain the intellectual property of Think Musical Academy. Students may not reproduce, distribute, or publish any course material without express written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Academy shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to technical failures, session disruptions, or force majeure events.
9. Changes to Terms
Think Musical Academy reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Enrolled students will be notified via the registered email address with at least 14 days' notice before changes take effect. Continued enrolment constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
